Non-Licensed Staff

Although they are not licensed funeral directors, these staff members are vitally important to the operation of our firm.  These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

Michelina Beam, Office Administrator Email: mbeam@martynfh.com Office Phone: 705-472-8810 (North Bay) or 705-744-7400 (Mattawa) Born in North Bay, Ontario, Michelina is the daughter of Barbara and Giacinto (Jim) Castrilli. She graduated from West Ferris Secondary School and went on to post secondary studies in business at Fanshawe College in London and York University in Toronto. Michelina married Blake Beam in February of 1989 and by Christmas of the same year they returned to North Bay to live. Michelina joined the staff of Martyn Funeral Home as Office Administrator in April of 1997. She and Blake have three children, two sons and a daughter, and she is often busy shuttling them around to theatre practice, soccer, or dance. Michelina volunteers with Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre, a charitable organization that provides musical theatre experience for children and families of North Bay and area, and in 2003 she was appointed Executive Director of the company. She and her family attend Trinity United Church where Michelina also volunteers some time to teach Sunday school. Any leftover hours she may have in a week are spent sailing with her family, reading, playing ball hockey, or coaching for LEGO robotics.
