The Services & Products that Martyn Funeral Home provides, have been broken into six easily understood sections for you to review when planning your Funeral requirements.

Professional & Staff Services
1. Basic Staff Services $550.00
Professional services of a licensed funeral director for consultation and co-ordination of all arrangements prior to, during and after the funeral. Also support staff for general staffing, assistance during the funeral service, clerical support, cleaning and maintenance and 24 hour availability.

2. Visitation $340.00
Funeral director and staff supervision during visiting, receiving and setting up flowers, co-ordination of
donations and special duties associated with fraternal services.

3. Day of Service $385.00
Includes preparations for the funeral service, staff to assist and direct the service.

4. Documentation $415.00
Municipal & provincial registrations, obtain coroner and medical certificates, prepare and submit
newspaper notices, cemetery/cremation forms and other required documentation.

5. Embalming $395.00
Preservation, sanitation and restoration of the body to allow viewing or sheltering of the remains.
Arrangements in excess of 48 hours from the time of death require embalming by Funeral Home policy.

6. Other Preparation $195.00
Dressing, hair styling, cosmetics and casketing or disinfection when not embalming.

7. Attendance at Burial $125.00
Staff for interment of casket or ashes

Facilities and Equipment
1. Basic Facility Services $370.00
The minimum charge in all cases for use of facilities and equipment to operate as a licensed funeral
services establishment including public areas, parking, arrangement office and selection room.

2. Visitation $340.00
The use of facilities, equipment and furnishings for the reception of family and friends.

3. Day of Service $610.00
Use of facilities, furnishings and equipment for funeral service in our chapel or extra staff, equipment
and time commitments for service in a church.

4. Preparation Room $195.00
Use of a designated room monitored by the local Health Unit for professional sanitary care
and/or shelter of the remains & use of necessary specialized equipment.

Automotive Requirements
1. Initial Transfer $280.00
Use of vehicle and equipment to transfer the deceased from the place of death to the funeral
home within city limits.

2. Funeral Coach $355.00
Use of this specialized vehicle to transport casketed remains to church, cemetery or crematorium.

3. Service Vehicle $175.00
For errands and other tasks related to services (flower delivery, pick up death certificates, etc.)

4. Clergy/Pallbearer $99.00
A vehicle to transport clergy and/or pallbearers during the funeral service

5. Transfer to Crematorium $210.00
Use of the service vehicle to transfer casketed remains to the crematorium.

6. Out of town transportation
$240 for the first 25km, then $1.25 each additional km, one way.

Post Funeral Receptions $260.00
Use of our reception facilities for a gathering following the funeral service.
Our hostess will set up your reception, serve your guests and take care of all clean-up.
Coffee, tea, cream, sugar and juice are included; catering extra.

Stationery
Package prices: $125.00, $175.00 and $285.00
Packages include a Guest Register book, Memoriam cards for visitors, laminated Bookmark Remembrance cards for each immediate family member, Acknowledgement cards, Pallbearer cards, Proof of Death certificates, information booklets and a portfolio for documentation.
