Obituary of Gordon Gibbs
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Lawrence Gibbs in his 76th year at Eastholme- Home for the Aged, Powassan ON, on March 27th 2024.
He is survived by his children Bonnie Sue Hunt, Terri Lynn Fitz (Chris), Gordon (Tom) Thomas Gibbs and the mother of their children Bonnie Mae Gibbs (nee Thomas).
Grandpa to Kimberly Rose and Rebecca Grace Fitz. He is also survived by his brother Ken (Pam) Gibbs.
Son of the late Rose (Frank) Gough and late John William Gibbs Sr. Predeceased by brothers Jack, Donald (Andrea), Randy (Judy) and sister Audrey Shaw (John).
He worked with Gilbert's Welding and Millwright in New Liskard ON for many years. When he wasn't working he enjoyed playing cards with his family or reading.
A heartfelt Thank-you to the staff and volunteers at Eastholme Home for the Aged for making his time there comfortable and for the compassionate care he received over the years.
Cremation to take place and a Celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
